Jacks on the River Trip 2007 – White Water Rafting

I went on my annual “Jacks on the River” camping trip this year. We decided to try white water rafting on the American River. It was a great time! Check out the video below of the “Triple Threat” Class 3 rapid and the website.

Cuban Food and the beach

Had my first taste of Cuban food yesterday, pretty good.  Very similar to a couple of filipino dishes. We also went to the beach for most of the day today, which was really fun.  Too bad it’s such a short trip, but Melanie and I are definitely having a good time.

Land of the Raisin’s

So Melanie and I took the red-eye to Florida today, we’re here for Melanie’s Uncle Ben’s 60th birthday.  First thing when I got off the plane there was a Dunkin Donuts, so I stopped by and got myself a cup of coffee, since my buddy DC said it’s his favorite.  Not bad…   I had to take a pics, so check them out.  More to come on the Florida trip.

KWIK-E-MART

One of my co-workers went to the local KWIK-E-MART (If you watch “The Simpsons” then you’ll associate this, if not it’s still interesting).  They’ve been converting 7-Eleven’s and Mtn. View is fortunate enough to get one.
